Your domain name is translated into an IP address using a particular piece of information called an MX record. We replace your MX record with a pointer to our filtering servers. This means that email sent to your organization goes directly to our servers rather than to your email server. After filtering, our servers send the filtered mail directly to your email server. The filtering process adds a few seconds to the amount of time it takes to deliver mail to your server.

After signing up for service, our technicians will help you make the changes to your MX records and configure the service to your requirements. You can change configuration items at any time.
